Hello, I am Shinmi SATO, CZT in Japan. I love your patten Kozy. Now I am planning to publish my own book about Zentangle. Could I use your patten on my book and translate the steps into Japanese? I would appreciate it if you could give me permission.
I would be very pleased if I could introduce your patterns to Japanese who love Zentangle. Thank you.
Dear Shinmi, thank you so much for your kind message!Unfortunately I have not been very active on my blog lately. The ZIA's on this blog are made by me but the patterns I used come from all sorts of resources, like the official Zentangle site www.zentangle.com and from www.tanglepatterns.com. As a CZT you will know these sites, I think. So you better ask them for permission to use the step-by-step instructions. I have created one tangle myself, Kozy, that tangle is mine and you can find the step-by-step instructions here: http://tanglepatterns.com/2015/02/how-to-draw-kozy.html You have my permission to use Kozy in your book and you may also use the photos in this blog from my ZIA's if you wish, as long as you mention my name as the creator. Please let me know when your book is available, I would love to see it! Kind regards, Marieke
