An even easier way to fix a tile on a cardboard frame...

Acrylic ink

One day I tried Pearlescent Acrylic Ink from Daler Rowney on the background. This appeared to be a fantastic surface to draw on with the Micron black pens and the glow in the background is really beautiful!

I found an easy but charming way to frame the zentangle tiles: thick cardboard (bend the lower part backwards to make it stand) and photocorners to fix the tile.

Colour

I felt more and more attracted to colours in my zentangles.

First I combined black and brown Micron pens...

then I started shading with coloured pencils.

Soon I discovered the Sakura jelly glitter pens...

And do you remenber this one?

I coloured it with watercolour pencils...

Renaissance tiles

Coloured Micron pens

And then I found the (heritage) coloured set of Micron pens and discovered the white jelly pen...
